PILOT GRANTS
Mātai will offer pilot research grants for the use of magnetic resonance imaging on a 3-Tesla scanner (and other scanning devices as they become available), from around September.
Applicable studies include pilot development studies with a clear intention to perform a larger study.
Details
- The amount of funding granted to each pilot study will be considered according to the academic merits of each proposal and the amount of time required on the MRI scanner.
- Pilot Grants are aimed at facilitating preliminary data to support an application towards a larger grant. Pilot studies are not self-contained projects in their own right.
- The value will typically equate to four hours of MRI use, and additional time may be allocated at the discretion of the reviewers.
- Ethics approval will be required.
